We now have 3 sections so everyone can play at their own strength : Rated Plus Score Open (for the tournament player), Unrated Open (for casual players that want to test the torunament waters without paying rating fees), and the U800 K-8 Scholastic (for youth exploring the competition at the individual and team level without ratings). Take a risk and sign up for a section today!
The simultaneous exhibition with GM Alex Yermolinsky Friday night (Feb. 8th) is $5 for 17 and under or $10 for 18 and over without tournament entry and starts shortly after 6:30 pm at the Museum. The simul is FREE for anyone who signs up for the Saturday tournament.

The Simul has NO LIMIT (Yermo says he will take them ALL on!) so bring all your chessplaying friends and family to wear him down. Come before 6:30 pm to reserve your board. See who can get the draws and see if someone can get a win!
