Sioux Empire Chess Foundation Summer Camps

Intermediate Chess Camp (June 22-26 at the Dragon’s Den)

A whole week of Chess, Arts, Sports and Fun

Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, early drop-off and late pick-up available upon request

Daily Schedule:

9:00-9:30 Chess Class (instructor Alex Yermolinsky)
9:30-10:00 Chess Problem Solving (worksheets developed by Alex Yermolinsky)
10:00-11:00 Tournament Game (part of U.S. Chess Federation Rated Tournament)
11:00-12:00 Sports and Outdoor Activities (supervised by three adults at all times)

12:00-12:30 Lunch (we provide hot food, such as pizza, burgers , or pasta dishes)

12:30-1:30 Art Class (instructor Camilla Baginskaite)
1:30-2:30 Sports and Outdoor Activities (supervised by three adults at all times)
2:30-3:00 Chess Class (instructor Alex Yermolinsky)
3:00-4:00 Tournament Game (part of U.S. Chess Federation Rated Tournament)
4:00-5:00 Various Activities (strategic games, casual chess and bughouse!)

This Camp is limited to 20 participants by invitation only.
Please respond by May 1st or lose the spot to the next person on the list.

Cost: $200, $100 for siblings. Siblings may attend the same or different camps.
Early drop-off/late pick-up: at $5/hour. One day attendance fee: $50.
